By accessing or using the HalowLink mobile application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
• Promptly update your account information if it changes.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or infringing content.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service -- including text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and design -- are owned by HalowLink or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

6. Connected Devices

The Service may allow you to connect and manage IoT or smart devices. You acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for ensuring your connected devices comply with applicable laws.
• Device performance depends on factors outside our control, including network connectivity, device firmware, and environmental conditions.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted device connectivity or functionality.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service operational at all times. However, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any feature) at any time without prior notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HalowLink and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
